• Reverse acquisitions are when a public listed shell is company acquired by a private company.
• Reverse acquisitions allow private companies to list on the public stock exchanges without having to go through the lengthy and painful IPO process which demands a lot of sensitive information to be divulged.
• To figure out the cost of acquisition use the share price of the listed company as it is difficult to value the private company.
